MTM London raises £5K for the night shelter
This year we were thrilled to be chosen by MTM London as their Charity of the Year.
During the summer, the MTM team took part in a Tough Mudder, one of the most challenging of obstacle courses, and more recently held an entertaining quiz night on behalf of the Charity. As a result of the team’s exceptional efforts, they raised £4,849.03 for Hackney Winter Night Shelter.
We were delighted to receive this fantastic amount towards our work this year. This winter we have worked with over 100 guests, giving them a safe place to stay over the coldest winter months. We have secured move-on accommodation so far for more than half of them. The money will be put towards heating costs for the shelter venues.
The team at Hackney Winter Night Shelter would especially like to thank Jade Rea and her colleagues for raising such a phenomenal amount of money for us.
