World Homeless Day 2022

Since 2010 World Homeless Day has been marked by people responding to homelessness around the world to draw attention to people experiencing homelessness locally and encourage the community to get involved in responding to homelessness.

Hackney Night Shelter has been working with the local community to respond to homelessness in Hackney for more than 25 years - thanks to the support of local people. Volunteers at our two shelters help homeless people in Hackney with safe place to stay and support into secure accommodation. 

This World Homeless Day demand for our shelters is as great as ever and so is the need for volunteers.
